Harmony

Harmony in complementarity

The yin and yang symbol is one of the most widespread and recognizable symbols in the world. It is used to describe how all things in the universe are interconnected and interdependent. This includes the forces of good and evil, light and dark, hot and cold, positive and negative. According to this philosophy, these opposing forces do not conflict with each other but complement each other, creating a harmonious balance. The yin and yang symbol is a circle divided into two halves by a curved line. The black half represents yin, the feminine principle, while the white half represents yang, the masculine principle. Inside each half is a small circle of the opposite color, representing that everything contains yin and yang forces. The Chinese believe that by understanding and working with these forces, we can create harmony and balance in our lives.

This symbol is the common thread of the WOKUZAI collection. Whether it is explicitly drawn or implicitly present in the associations between objects, the harmony in the complementarity that it represents is one of the most important values of our universe.

These objects remind us that everything is connected and that we are all part of the same whole. Every time we look at them, we are reminded of the peace and joy that comes from living in harmony with ourselves and the world around us.
