Simplicity

Simplicity is a core value in Japanese philosophy. This view of simplicity translates into Japanese art, zen gardens, and even cooking. This involves focusing on the essentials and eliminating the superfluous. This philosophy makes it possible to live with less stress, to be more concentrated and to appreciate the small pleasures of life.

Inspired by this concept, one of the objectives of the collection was to keep only the essentials, be it form, function, or aesthetics.

As for the design, the shapes are simple and the lines clean to focus on what is really important, away from superfluous details. We can thus highlight the key elements of the object or concept in question. This is why WOKUZAI vases and flowerpots have soft and simple lines in order to highlight the flowers and plants they contain.

For the choice of colors, an ebony color complemented by a natural wood color were chosen, this choice guarantees a timeless and versatile style that adapts to all decors. Elegant and zen, these objects will bring a touch of sophistication to your interior while blending in with your personal style without overloading it.
